My First Handmade Christmas Gift.....this is Lawrence!!

Its my first Christmas since I started sewing so I decided that Im doing a Handmade Christmas this year.  Here is my first finished gift..

My partners lovely Mum really likes cats so I decided to make her an "all puffed up" cat for her Xmas.  Ive named him Lawrence.

 Isnt he cute!!!

  2. Thanks Tina. Yes I bought a pattern from America as couldnt find anything quite like it over here. Ive also bought a big fat bunny rabbit pattern that Im currently in the middle of - its very cute too! Here is the link....

  3. Oh he is really cute, well done ~ I love the whiskers. I am going to try and handmake something for everyoone this year, it's hard for the teenage boys but I will have to think of something!

  6. He is beautiful, love his whiskers. You have caught his expression just right. Is he going to be a doorstop or a cuddly? My daughter would love me to make her a ginger one to match her real cat!

    Highland Monkey, I think he is just going to be a cuddly. He is quite a sturdy little (or should I say big!) chap but I didnt put cat litter in the bottom so I dont think he would be heavy enough as a doorstop.

    Ali, yes its quite easy to follow although I did deviate a bit from the original pattern with a few things but overall it wasnt too difficult. xx
